Reta H. Petty, 88, passed away January 24, 2014. She was born in Lampasas, Texas, on May 3, 1925. She graduated from Lampasas High School. Reta has lived in Lampasas, Levelland and Sweetwater, TX, as well as Tucson, AZ. She owned and operated a café in Levelland and retired from A. J. Bayless in Tucson, after 34 years. Reta was also an active member of the Desert Foothills Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Troy A. Randy, Ron, and Scott Petty; daughter, Ann Haralson; and grandchildren, Kyle, Clinton, Kelsea, Sarah, Tyler, Crystal, Velvet, and April. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave. Funeral Service and interment will occur in Levelland, TX.
