Rex Willis Christoffersen
April 15th, 1991 - January 20th, 2018
Rex Willis Christoffersen, 26, passed away January 20, 2018, in Puyallup, Washington. He was born April 15, 1991, to Douglas Greg and Donna B. Christoffersen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rex spent his early childhood years growing up in Utah. His family then moved to Kitsap County, Washington, where he spent his teenage years making many friends and touching many lives. He graduated from Kingston High School, Kingston, Washington, in June 2010. In 2011, his family moved to Graham, Washington, which became his home for the past six years. In 2017, Rex graduated from the BYU Idaho Pathways program and was pursuing an associate’s degree in family history research. His dream jobs were to work for Ancestry.com, and volunteer at the LDS family history center. Rex was a caring, gentle, and giving man who made everyone his friend. He loved playing video games, watching WWE wrestling, and rooting for the Seattle Seahawk football team. Rex had a large DVD collection and was always quoting lines from his favorite movies. He loved everything Star Wars. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. In his free time, he would be online, touching the lives of countless people. Rex LOVED being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many callings. He wasn’t happy unless he had a calling and was serving. It did not matter how small or big his calling was, just to serve made Rex happy. He served many years as Home Teacher supervisor, and it weighed heavy on his heart to reach every family to be visited monthly. His religion was one of the most important parts of his life. He almost never missed a meeting or activity. Even though he has moved on to a better place, his faith, his testimony, and his spirit remain with all of us always. If you find yourself every missing Rex, just pick up the LDS hymn book and read the words of the song “Come Follow Me.” Rex is survived by his parents, Doug Christoffersen of Columbia, Missouri, and Donna Christoffersen of Graham, Washington; his brother, Elliot Grizzle (wife, Abbie Grizzle) of Columbia, Missouri; and sister, Callie Lynn Christoffersen of Graham, Washington. Please leave memories of Rex or condolences for his family in the Guestbook below.
