Reynaldo "Venada" Olvera was born on August 21, 1950 in Sinton, Texas and became a resident of Caldwell, Idaho. He was the youngest son born to Carmen and Lucia Olvera who preceded him in death. He was a 1969 graduate of Wilder High School and later met the love of his life of 35 years Holly Quintana Olvera. To this union, two children were born, his daughter Mrs. Christina (Richard) Hensley and Mr. Reynaldo Olvera Jr. He leaves his memory not only to be cherished by them, but his five grandchildren Mariana, Alexzandria, Isabella Hensley, Isaac and Olivia Olvera, two brothers Rudolfo Olvera, Boise, Idaho, Raul Morin, Caldwell, Idaho, four sisters Gloria Serrata Houston, TX, Amelia Corona, Alicia Jaxon and Anacelia Olvera, Ontario, OR, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends too numerous to name. He worked for the City of Caldwell, Street Department for 30 years. In his free time he loved to spend time with his grandchildren, family and friends, travel, camp, and to ride his motorcycle (he finally got his Harley Davidson.) He will be missed by all. We love you Dad. A Funeral mass will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 8, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Friends may call on Sunday, June 7, from 4 until 8:00 pm, with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Service Information
