Rhoda Murrhee Shaw Burns Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother entered her eternal rest September 15, 2021. Murrhee was born October 9, 1930 to her parents Mary Vera Shaw and Father Lewis T. Shaw at home in Tampa, Florida, she grew up in Tampa on Haya Street where she was very close to her older brother Lewis Anderson Shaw. She married her loving husband Lenford Burns December 9, 1950 and spent 53 happy years together having 3 children: George (wife Carrie), Lenford Charles “Buddy”, and Linda (Husband Michael); 11 Grandchildren: Matthew (wife Cheryl), Jacob (wife Jennifer), Joshua (wife Kristie), Adam (wife Samantha), Gabrielle (Husband David), Jordan, Arielle, Izabelle (Fiance Alex), Cynthia, Glenna, Darlene, 15 Great Grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was also very close with her nephews Harold and Steve Shaw and daughter in law Diane Burns. Murrhee was an incredible person who treated everyone with kindness and respect brightening their day. She was an avid reader, loved to shop and traveled as much as she could, spending every possible moment with her family she loved so much who now miss her immensely now forever!
