Richard Morrow Black

Richard Morrow Black, 62, of Summerville, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest July 27th, 2018. Funeral and committal services will be private. Arrangements by Simplicity Cremation and Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Pkwy, North Charleston, SC 29418. Rick was born January 10, 1956 in Detroit, MI. He was raised in East Lansing and Battle Creek, MI, and was a graduate of Lakeview High School in Battle Creek, MI, and Albion College in Albion, MI where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He worked for 17 years as a purchasing manager for Robert Bosch LLC in North Charleston, SC. Rick enjoyed the outdoors and being on the water. He is survived by four sons, Scott Richard Black (Mary Susanna) of Charleston, SC, Brian Joseph Black (Jess) of Atlanta, GA, Eric Matthew Black of Athens, GA, and Keith Andrew Black (Kelsey Hensley) of Cleveland, OH; one grandson Abram Scott Black; a brother, James Alan Black of Indianapolis, IN, and parents, J. Richard Black and Lois Jean (Morrow) Black of Greensboro, NC. Also surviving is former spouse and mother of his children Leigh Ann Black of Charleston, SC.
