Richard Chacon

Richard N. Chacon born May 4, 1947, 63 years old passed away May 26, 2010, peacefully surrounded by his family at the Veteran’s Hospital in Palo Alto. He courageously battled cancer for over 3 years. He was a native of Salinas and was a graduate of Salinas High School, in 1966. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran, serving 1967-1969. He was a member of the V.F. W. Post #7895. He spent a lot of time with his grandchildren and he especially looked forward to his daily walks with them. He enjoyed visiting his brothers. He also enjoyed taking family vacations to Las Vegas.
