Richard Diehl, 78, of Land O Lakes, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and moved to Florida in 1979. He is survived by his loving spouse of 52 years, Eileen Diehl; daughter, Laura Hill and son-in-law, Paul Hill; brothers Robert Diehl and Kenneth Diehl; and grandchildren, Sierra, and Robby Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen and John Diehl; and brother, Michael Diehl. Richard proudly served in the United States Army as a medic in the Vietnam War and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He majored in history at Saint Peter’s College and spent his career as an insurance claims manager. He was very interested in political science, loved baseball, and was a die-hard Yankees fan.
