none Richard "Joe" Eng lost his fight with cancer on Febuary 27, 2005. Joe was born on February 22, 1936 in Canton, China. He immigrated to New York when he was 10, leaving behind his parents and siblings. At the age of 17, Joe joined the army and was stationed in Germany. When he returned he was stationed at Fort Lewis where he met and married Marjorie Brown. Together they raised and he is survived by a son, Martin Joe Eng and his wife Jeanette; grandchildren, Christopher, Jerry, Mathew, James , Marty and Felice; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Eng, Marjie Marie Eng and her partner John Cox; grandchildren, Dannielle, Marques, and Sabrina; great grandchild, Ryan; daughter, Susan Moore; grandchildren, Jephthah, Fred, and Saysha; son, Paul Kelly William Eng, his wife Donnyell; grandchildren, Paul Jr., Jeremy, Marjie and Michael; daughter, Helen Marie Eng; grandchild, Chloe; daughter, Honey Kristina Eng; daughter, Stormy Brown and her partner, John Coffey; grandchildren, Autumn, Heather, Lacey, Rebecca, Ryan and Kayla. In 1970, Joe moved his family to Centralia where he was the owner-operator of "Eng's Evergreens". I would like to acknowledge the love from his closest friends, Bonna Weber and Steve Butterfield. Joe an Marjorie divorced in 1981. Joe met and married and is survived by Judy Eng. Joe and Judy have a son, Richard Joe Eng and raised together and is survived by daughter, Melissa Meyers and her husband Leland; grandchildren, Cody and Gabriella; daughter, Kayce Peterson; grandchildren, Kaytlyn; daughter, Shawnda Peterson; daughter, Brandy Peterson. Our father loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He was a self taught man who could do everything from taking apart a car to building a house. Our father taught his children to love fishing, bowling, cars, and playing cards. Our loving father will be remebered with joy and pride. He will live in the moments of our hearts and in the acomplishments of his children and grandchildren. Richard Joe Eng leaves this world the gift of who he was for each of his people whom he loved. Please remember him with joy in your heart. We would like to extend a very special thank you to all the people at Hospice. The gift from your support allowed my father to pass at home surrounded by his family.
