Richard Gordon (September 7, 1948 to November 28th. 2011) Richard Gordon (63) of Madeira Beach, Fl (formerly of Levittown, PA and New York), passed on Monday, November 28 at Moffitt Cancer Center surrounded by his family and friends. Rich was a retired boatman from Texaco, Inc. He loved fishing, poker, TV, the Yankees and the Giants. But most of all he loved his family and friends. His sense of humor was unique and even during his toughest battles he found the humor in life. Rich left a void in the lives of the people who were blessed enough to have been a part of his life. He had a passion for living and family that was unmatched and now he joins those that he loved that went before him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Josephine Gordon, and his beloved dogs, Sampson and Delilah. He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 26 years, Debbie Gordon (Lupini), his children: Richard Gordon (Laura) and Michael Gordon of NJ, Barbara Gordon-Baez (Michael) of Riverview, Kristina Gordon of, Pa, Craig Corlis of Madeira Beach, Amber McGilvary (Jeff), of Largo. His brothers, Phillip Smith (Carol), Joseph Gordon (Laura), His sisters Sandra Mellon (Don) and Connie Miranda (Juan), his sister in law (Nina) His Aunts, Connie Garcia and Jean Parker, twelve grandchildren that he adored and tons of nieces and nephews who were all his "favorite". A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm, at the E. James Reese Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole Boulevard, Seminole, FL 33772. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at Delosa's restaurant, East Bay Drive, Largo.
