Richard F. Hallam born 11-8-35, passed away 5-5-12 after battling cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends and will be truly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife Audrey J. Hallam; and is survived by his sister Joanne Rich, sister Sydney Hallam, and brother Roger Rich; his four children: Gale Hallam, Cindy Noll (son-in-law David Noll), Mark Hallam and Connie Saxby (son-in-law Grant Saxby); grandchildren: Joseph Noll, Luke Noll, Ben Saxby and Audrey Saxby; and step grandchildren, Adam Saxby and Rachael Saxby. He is also survived by friend Julie Dow and their beloved dog Maggie. Richard was among the first motorcycle policemen in Edmonds and is retired from the Edmonds Police Department. He served in the U.S. Navy, and the Army Reserves. He loved camping and traveling in his motorhome. He was a friend to all who knew him. We love you. We know you are at peace in heaven. A Memorial service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, May 10 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 3215 Larch Way, Lynnwood, WA; with graveside following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle, WA.
