Richard Hulette
March 19th, 1933 - August 28th, 2024
Richard Hulette, 91, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. The husband of the late Barbara Sue Snow Hulette, Richard was born March 19, 1933, to the late Bain and Mary Moore Hulette in Frankfort, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army and founder of Hulette Printing Company. Richard loved to farm, fish, and play cards with his friends. At the age of 65, he decided to take up golfing, and excelled at it instantly, as he did most everything he tried.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Tonda (Sean) Combs of Frankfort; son, Kevin (Kaye) Hulette of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Chris (Rachel) Jackson, Ashlee Jackson, Brandon (Jessalin) Hulette, Ricky Scott Hulette, Danielle Hulette, and Jonathan Hulette; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, Barbara Sue Snow Hulette, and his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sons, Ricky Hulette and Donnie Hulette, and sisters, Noreen Quire and Jewel Toll.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00p, Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, Frankfort, with Rev. Todd Lester officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Frankfort with Dale Roland, Brad Bailey, Eddie Duvall, Rich Phillips, Mike Ward, Jackie Sampson, Tom Marshall, Jerry Mills, and David Armstrong serving as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 11:00a until the time of service on Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators bgcarenav.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital stjude.org.
