Richard Alan Ingalls
November 5th, 1965 - July 2nd, 2019
Ingalls, Richard Alan November 5, 1965-July 2, 2019 Richard Alan Ingalls, 54, of Parker, past away unexpectedly. A proud and devoted father, he leaves behind his two beloved sons, Peyton (20), and Brady (16). He is survived by their mother, Ginger Moore Ingalls, his brother, Dr. Greg (Barb) Ingalls, uncle to Zach (Amanda) Ingalls, Courtenay (Mike) Davis, as well as, Allison, Ben (Molly) Ingalls and Jack Ingalls. He is preceded by his father, Floyd Winton Ingalls, his mother, Winifred Dick Ingalls, and his brother, Jeffrey Scott Ingalls. His gregarious personality led him to a career in retail and commercial sales. Most recently he was a sales representative with Rocky Mountain Adhesives. There was a common theme intertwined throughout Richard's heart, and that was the love for his two boys and sports. As one friend shared, Richard was twice as fun as anyone and twice the cheerleader with all the boys at all the games. He will always be remembered for his matching bright double socks and his Nike Shocks. The way he took care of his lawn and his care in keeping his cars spotless. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting Richard, you know what we are referring to. But from all the messages we have received since his passing, one stands apart from the others, a message written by a son whom lost his father all too soon. As his son, Brady, wrote: Rest easy to the greatest role model, to the double sock fanatic, to the guy who taught me my left from right, to the one that came to every baseball, football, and basketball game to be played, to the greatest coach and hype man on the field, to the most energetic person in the room, to the guy who's smile lights up the party, and to the most lovable and caring dad ever to step foot on this earth. As another special person in Richard's life said, you will never be forgotten. Your legacy will live on in your boys and keep guiding them in the right direction. He graduated from Metropolitan State College and Thomas Jefferson High School both located in Denver, CO. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, at 1:00p.m., at Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Blvd, 80222.
