June 9th, 1933 - March 29th, 2022
Richard (Bud) Anthony Korinek 88 of Danville, CA Passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Former resident of Rossmoor in Walnut Creek. Pre-Deceased by his soulmate and wife Mary Ann Korinek, his Parents, John and Anna Korinek and his brothers John (Jack) and William. He is survived by his son Mark Korinek (wife Bett), daughter Joy Murphy; 4 grandchildren, Zachary Korinek, Morgan, Madison and McKenzie Murphy; Brother Robert and sister Rosemary Peluso. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean war and was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus at his church near Orlando, Florida. He was a retired employee of the Marriott Corporation where he was a corporate controller for their food service division. He was a kind and giving man and extremely well liked by all who knew him. He adored his wife, loved his family and friends, and enjoyed singing and dancing. His infectious laugh and smile will be dearly missed. There will be a catholic mass at St. Isidore's church, 440 La Gonda Way Danville CA 94526 on Friday April 8, 2022, at 10:30 AM.
