May 1st, 1936 - July 14th, 2011
Richard D. McClellan passed away July 14, 2011 in Cocoa, FL. Dick grew up in Indiana, attended the University of Indiana, served in the Army Special Forces, then spent most of his adult life in Florida. Dick loved the beach and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and wonderful smile. Dick is survived by his wife, Virginia McClellan; son, Steve McClellan; step-children, Karen and Larry Fleckinger, Randy and Tanya Hamilton; grandchildren, Haley Belton Guglielmi, Casey Belton, Taylor Fleckinger, Layla Hamilton; and great grandchild, Brayden Boucher. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Merritt Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Wuesthoff Hospice, 321-253-2222 Arangements by Family owned and operated Atlantic Mortuary & Cremation Service, Rockledge.
