Metz, Richard A. "Dick" 94, of St. Petersburg, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Dick was born and raised in Erie, PA. He graduated from Georgetown Law School Summa Cum Laude. He practiced law in St. Petersburg and was the head of the trust department of Florida National Bank until his retirement. Dick was an avid semi-pro golfer and a member of the Sunset Golf Course. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dona; son, Richard; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 3pm at Northeast Presbyterian Church, 4400 Shore Acres Blvd. N.E., St. Petersburg, FL 33703. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Northeast Presbyterian Church, where Dick was a member for 40 years.
