Richard "Rick" Steven Meyer

February 12th, 1951 - March 21st, 2024

Richard Steven Meyer, 73, of Evans, Colorado passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at his home.  He was born February 12, 1951 in Greeley, Colorado to Dave and Marie (Keller) Meyer.  Rick was raised in Greeley and graduated from Greeley High School in 1969.  He attended Aimes Community College where he received his Associate Degree.  Rick worked as a farmer for Harry Wiedeman for many years and also had worked for Greenleaf Tree Service.  He most recently had attended church in Evans.  In his younger years he enjoyed dancing.  He loved to go fishing and hunting and was quite the jokester.

Rick his survived by his wife Dorothy Terry of Evans; his children, Adriena Meyer of Houston, Texas, Jon Brodie and wife Crystal of North Carolina, William Brodie and wife Sharon of Clayton, Georgia, Sabrina Ruggiero of New York, Michelle Terry of Florida and Tonja Oliver of North Carolina; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister Debra Bruntz of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also survived by Deedee Pitner and Brenda Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Barbara Johnson, Robert Meyer and Gary Meyer.
