Richard Mohr, 67, of Bradenton, Florida passed away peacefully at home November 11, 2017. Richard was born in Miami, Florida, March 28, 1950. He was the son of the late Jack Mohr. He was preceded in death by sister Tammy Willison. Survivors include loving wife Janice; mother Vanette Mohr of Maryville, Tennessee; daughters (and spouses) Jeannette and Donald Bellamy, Denise and Denver Blankenship of Palatka, Florida; stepsons Michael and wife Susan Tipton of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Jason Tipton of Maryville, Tennessee; grandsons Robert Mohr, Dustin and Dalton Blankenship of Palatka, Florida; granddaughter Kymberly Johnson of Palatka, Florida; Stepgranddaughters Kayla Tipton of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Kasey Tipton of O’Fallon, Missouri; and great-granddaughter Kenzlee Blankenship of Palatka, Florida. Richard worked 20 years at Hudson Pulp and Paper Mill in Palatka, Florida and moved to Tennessee where he worked for the State of Tennessee for nine years. He retired and moved back to Florida. Richard enjoyed dirt track racing, camping and fishing. A celebration of life is planned at a later date.
