Richard E. "Dick" Morris, 86, of St. Petersburg, Florida, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Born in Quincy, MA and came to FL in 1990 from Weymouth, MA and was a Building Superintendant at One Beacon Street, Boston and also worked for General Dynamics with the FBI. He was a Pitcher for the Boston Braves Minor League in the late 1940's and for the last twelve years, played Softball with the Kids & Kubs. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and a member of Calvary Chapel Pinellas Park. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy O.; daughter, Linda(Denis) Healy of Weymouth, MA; son, James Morris of Copperas Cove, TX, stepsons, George (Ann) Cedarstrom of Carver, MA., John (Trina) Cedarstrom of Weymouth, MA; daughter-in-law, Edith Morris of Coperas Cove, TX; 8 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter. Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 PM Monday, February 27, 2012 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home. Memorial Service: 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Calvary Chapel Pinellas Park with Rev.
