Centerville, GA: Richard L. Nash, Sr., 76, U.S.A.F. MSgt. Retired, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2008, in a Macon hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Paul Cowles will officate. Mr. Nash was born in East Point, GA to the late Henry D. Nash, Sr. and Mary L. Wilke. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold R. Nash. Mr. Nash retired from Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic after many years of civil service work. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and the Frank Mellette Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Nash of Centerville, daughter, Kathy Dan Bowden of Roswell, son, Ricky Sharon Nash, Jr. of Perry, daughter, Lore Pinyan Jason Crosby of Warner Robins, grandsons, Logan Pinyan, Brent Bowden, Chuck Richardson and brother, H.D. Nash of Carrollton In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund @ 1322 Feagin Mill Rd., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Nash. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
