"Brimfield, Richard F. Natale, 48, died from injuries suffered as a result of a motor vehicle accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike on Thursday, July 6, 2006. Born December 18, 1957 in Greensburg, PA, he was the beloved son of Sophie E. (Mento) Natale of Herminie, PA and the late Francis S. Natale. Rich was a 1976 graduate of Yough High School in Herminie, Pa and a 1980 graduate of the Ohio Institute of Technology. He obtained his degree in engineering and was employed as a chief software engineer and partner in The Espy Corporation. Rich had a passion for the outdoors, which included telemark skiing, camping and animal tracking. He loved wrestling, softball, volleyball and was an unwavering Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was also a blacksmithing enthusiast. Most importantly Rich was a kind, generous man with a gentle spirit. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and an adored mentor and coach to his sons’ sports teams. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 11 years, Suzanne (Smith) Natale, and his three sons, A1C Nicholas A. Natale of Moody Air force Base, GA., Nicholas A. Roberts and Samuel F. Natale both at home. Rich also leaves his cherished sister Connie Demarki of Germantown, MD, and many other family and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte.20) followed by a liturgy of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church of Monson. Burial will follow at Brimfield Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 14 at Beers & Story from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 7 p.m. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to The Richard Natale Memorial Fund for the benefit of Samuel Natale c/o Country Bank 1485 N. Main St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
