Richard Harold Nelson, of Commerce City passed away on October 31, 2012. Richard was born in Underwood, Minnesota to Sewell and Augusta Nelson on September 8, 1924. He spent several years in the United States Army and left the army in 1952 after having served his country during two wars (World War II and the Korean War) He also spent several years working at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal before he retired. Richard is survived by: His wife, Esther Mae Nelson; 3 children, Dennis Nelson, Gary Nelson and Charlotte Nelson as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Birth: Sep 8, 1924, Underwood, Minnesota Death: Oct 31, 2012, Commerce City, Colorado
