Richard Lord Nurse
September 30th, 1974 - June 23rd, 2019
On Sunday June 23rd Richard lord nurse, a loving husband and an amazing father to three children, passed away at the age of 44. He was born September 30th, 1974 and worked as a water treatment plant operator for 15 plus years. He was highly respected and intelligent in his line of work. He met my mother, Tiffany in 1994 at the age of 19 and he fell madly in love with her and still was till the end. They Married November 29th 1996. They shared 25 years of a beautiful marriage, one that could be written in the stars. Together they raised myself, my brother, Richard and my Sister, Erynn. He was extremely intellectual and was open to sharing his knowledge. He was hard working and always put his family first. He would love to surprise his family with thoughtful gifts when they didn't expect it. He was the type of person at first glance you might be Intimidated to be around, his presence strong and humble, but once you got to know him he was the biggest teddy bear, very interesting, & had a quirky sense of humor. He was a genuine, loving, and deep man. He enjoyed taking small family trips, especially anywhere by water, and loved spending time with all his dogs throughout his life and he enjoyed reading or watching anything about conspiracy theories about big foot, ghost, and aliens. He would enjoy quiet days around the house, listening to music, and being around with his loved ones. He is survived by his most loving wife Tiffany Nurse, his handsome son, Richard Nurse Jr., his beautiful daughter, Erynn Nurse, and myself, Alea Christensen. His mother and father, Tony and Sandra Nurse; brothers, Ernest Oberst, Elliot Nurse, and sister, Tammie Crabtree; and in-laws, Ron & Penny Christensen. He may be gone but his aura and knowledge will live on forever through his unique family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him and knew him. His celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019, 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, 12134 Airport Rd., Sutter Creek, CA 95685 and is open to all friends and family. In lieu of flowers his family is requesting donations that will help with end of life costs and future expenses. This would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations will go directly to his wife, Tiffany.
