Richard "Rusty" Warren Plenkers jr
March 22nd, 1982 - November 6th, 2013
RICHARD W. "RUSTY" PLENKERS JR., age 31, of Darlington, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 6, 2013. He was born on March 22, 1982 in Tucson, Arizona, son of Richard W. Plenkers Sr. and Carol J. Oler. He graduated from Monroe High School, and joined the Marines directly out of high school. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 2000-2004. Rusty was employed at the Grede Foundry in Browntown, Wisconsin. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his children. He will be deeply missed by his children, Mataya Plenkers, Warren Plenkers, and Sarah Plenkers, all of Darlington; the mother of his children, Brandi Smith; his father and stepmother, Richard and Mary Plenkers of Watertown; Sisters, Trudi (Dan) Dewey of Rockford, IL, Audra (Kenny) Foster of Lake Charles, LA, Deborah (Kevin) Prudhomme of Sulphur, LA, Melody (Eric) Broussard of Lake Charles, LA, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Carol Plenkers, his grandparents, an Uncle, two Aunts, and a nephew, Kody Foster. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, November 12 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday November 11, 2013 at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and then again on Tuesday morning from 10:00-11:30.
