Richard "Rick" Reeve

Richard R. "Rick” Reeve, 64, of Kersey, CO passed away July 9, 2014 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. He was born January 11, 1950 in Greeley, CO to Dick and Ginny (Love) Reeve. Rick was baptized in the LaSalle, Presbyterian Church, graduated from Valley High School in 1968 and attended Adams State College in Alamosa, CO. On November 12, 1972 he married Judy Eckhardt at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greeley. After marriage Rick joined his father in Reeve and Son concrete. He then worked for McDoy Distributing of Greeley for 19 years, followed by driving OTR for both Triple R. Trucking and Rob’s Repair. After retiring he worked part time at Dirty Dan’s Garage in Peckham. Rick had an interest in all things automotive. His favorite was drag racing which he did with both of his daughters. He is survived by his wife Judy of Kersey; two daughters, Rhonda (Darren) Siem and Rachel (Beau Bayer) Reeve all of Evans, CO; granddaughter, Violet Grace Siem of Evans; brothers, Rob (Anita) Reeve and Randy (Cindy) Reeve of LaSalle and Ron (Charla) Reeve of Evans; brother-in-law, JD (Lois) Eckhardt of Kersey; sister-in-law, Jodelle (Chris) Stromberger of LaSalle and numerous nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Jim and Lil Eckhardt; and two sister-in-laws, Barb Reeve and Sally Eckhardt. Memorial service 4:00p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at A Gathering Place Event Center, 24081 County Road 50, LaSalle, CO.
