Richard P. Roy
November 30th, 1933 - July 1st, 2015
Richard Roy of Cumming, GA formerly of Hartland, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Keene, NH, the son of N. Paul and Myra Roy. Richard was a proud United States Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in CA. Richard worked for many years at George J. Meyer Manufacturing and was the founder of OMCO Group LTD. Richard will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane M. (nee Goodale) Roy; children, Debora (James) Hutchison of Green Bay, Sharon Roy of Milwaukee, WI, Kenneth (Ruby) Roy of Menomonee Falls, WI, Michael (Desta) Roy of Delafield, WI and Robert (Laura) of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Bonniejean (Eric) Zitske, Kent (Amanda) Hutchison, Evan Hutchison, Bryce Newman, Brent Newman, Alexander Kimble and Lauren Kimble; great-grandchildren, Oscar Zitske and Graycian Hutchison. He is further survived by sisters, Pauline (Howard) Bergeron of VT and Theresa (Nappy) Benoit of DE; other family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jeanette (Charlie) Forest. The visitation for Richard will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Charles Catholic Parish, 313 Circle Dr. Hartland, WI 53029. Burial will be private at the Southern WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Richard's name would be appreciated to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
