Richard, loving father, son and brother passed away suddenly on August 1, 2013. Richard was born on October 14, 1962 in Warner Robins, Ga. to Charles and Mary M. Singleton. He graduated from Northside High School in 1981 and attended Georgia Southwestern College. Richard was Design Coordinator and Salon Equipment Sales Representative for Cosmopolitan Beauty Systems Group for 27 years. One of his greatest accomplishments was obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout in 1976 as a member of troop 566 in Warner Robins. Richard started his passion for golf with putt putt as a child. He was an avid golfer and played on a weekly basis. As a huge sports enthusiast, he also loved softball, baseball, and football. He was a big fan of the Northside High School Eagles, Atlanta Braves and Falcons and the Miami Hurricanes. He is preceded in death in death by his father Charles R. Singleton, grandparents W.C. and Voncile Musgrove (newton, Ga.) and Charlie and Elfred Singleton (Myrtle, Beach, SC). He is survived by his mother Mary Musgrove Singleton, son Spencer Singleton and daughter Caroline Singleton (Macon) and step-daughter Nicole Noland (Atlanta). Sister Cynthia (Tim) Loudin, niece Ashley (Randy) Pelham (Milner, Ga.), nephews Charles and Alex Loudin, great niece Hayleigh Loudin, aunt Ullainee Stokes (Atlanta), as well as his life-long friends Emmet Cox and Dr. Curtis Hayslip and many other friends and relatives. Visitation will be 6-8 PM on Monday August 5, 2013 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Ga. Services will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Trinity Methodist Church in Warner Robins, Ga. at 2PM. Flowers are welcomed or donations can be made to the Charles R. Singleton Memorial Scholarship fund Troop 566 at Trinity United Methodist, 129 South Houston Rd. Warner Robins, Ga. 31088
