Richard passed away on 3/29/20 at our home in Pinellas Park, Fl at 6:45am. Richard was in Hospice Care since 1/9/20. He was born in Albany, N.Y. and was raised in Baldwin, L.I. Richard studied and graduated from Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. and was a successful CPA. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Josephine; his sons Don(Laura), Jeff(Laura), Ralph(Erin), Frank, Robbie(Lisa); and his daughters Heather(Richie) and Karen(Mike). He is also survived by his brother Dr. Bruce Stevens and his wife Carol. Richard is also survived by his grandchildren Amanda, Emma, Nicholas, Haleigh, Frankie, Sean, Jordan, and Lauren; as well as his great grandchildren Zoe and Stella. He is also preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Grace. Richard was a laid back fun loving guy who enjoyed being around people as well as his family. He had a passion for poker games and enjoyed the challenge of tournaments. He enjoyed traveling, cruising and golf. He was self employed many years and his deep concern for his clients well being was his life's work and his clients reminisced about hours he spent with them determining their best solutions. They all said he will be greatly missed and he is a one of a kind person. He had an uplifting tone in his voice when you called him always glad to hear from you. Richard was always the first one to help and most likely the last one to leave. He will always be remembered for his kindness and gentle manner. Due to the health concerns of today please note we will be having a Celebration of Life in the near future.
