Richard Rudoph Woock

Richard Rudolph Woock. Born March 31, 1945 in Auburn Ca to his parents Walter and Ruth Woock. Went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 2019, at the age of 74 at his home in Granite Bay California, surrounded by his loving family. Richard was married August 12, 1967 to his wife Kathy, and they were married for 52 years. He served his country for 2½ years in the Navy during the Vietnam war. After that he spent an additional 2 years in the Naval Reserve. Following his service to our country, he went to work for AT&T. Richard served his community in many capacities. From Retirement Home Pastor to Police Chaplin with the Placer County Sherriff Office. During these years he began to study for the call of God by attending Trinity bible School and following that with home studies through Bethany College of the Assemblies of God. After completing his ministerial studies, he was licensed with the Assemblies of God on Sept. 9th, 1981. He then went on to be ordained on April 19th, 2004. He served as the Associate Pastor under Pastor Steve White at Crossroads Fellowship Assembly of God for 17 years. He also served on various ministry boards, including the local Teen Challenge ministry. Richard was a devout Christian and dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and doing everything in his power to lead everyone he could to a saving knowledge of Jesus. Richard is survived by: His wife of 52 years Kathy; Their 4 children: Daughter: Alegre; 2 sons: Michael and his fiancé Jessica, Jonathan and his wife Marianna; Daughter; Jennifer 8 grandchildren that he adored, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
