Rick Robbin Meyers, 54, native and lifelong resident of Salinas, passed away unexpectedly in Salinas on October 19, 2011. Rick was a man who loved God. He enjoyed rides on his motorcycle with friends and family. Rick especially like to play his harmonica. He is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn Gaskins of Salinas brother, John Grajek of Prunedale sisters Cheryl Westcott of Salinas Gayle Patten of Redding Brenda Williamson of Soledad along with other loving relatives and many friends. "The Holy Spirit and I" The Holy Spirit, which is of God, and the wordly spirit that was born into me, better known as I. The two are not alike, they differ from another as night and day. It is a constant battle between the Holy Spirit and I, one night bad, the other must follow, but I always want what is of this world. The Lord has prepared a better home for us, this is you and I. We must surrender our worldly spirits to the Father in Heaven before we die. This is what He desires of you and I. So that we can be together, with Jesus, on that faithful day, in the sky....
