Rick West

Rick West, 72, husband of Sally West, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, he was born in December of 1948 to the late Elmer and Mary Ellen McNeese West. Rick was full of laughter, and always the life of the party. He loved his sons and many times would say how proud he was of the men they have become. Being a Papa to his grandkids was one of the biggest joys in his life. Along with this, Rick enjoyed traveling to the beach, listening to music, playing games and spending time with friends and family on the weekends. In addition to his wife of 48 years, he will be lovingly remembered by his sons, James (Brannan Malicoat) West, Indiana and Jonathan (Andrea) West, Lexington; his sister, Shirley Ann West Miller (Roger Friedman), Oregon; his brother, Steve (Delinda) West, Richmond and his grandchildren, Aiden and Jemma West, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Mahoney. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Friday June 18, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
