RITA MARIE BROWN, 64 Passed away at her home on Sept. 1, 2019. She was born in Tucson, on May 25th, 1955, the daughter of Emilio V. Carrillo and Eloisa A. Carrillo. She grew up alongside loving parents and siblings, Lupita, Bonnie, Ralph, Henry, Roberto, Ron, and Tito. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th, 2019 at Angel Valley Funeral Home. 2545 N. Tucson Blvd. From 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. A rosary will be held in her honour at 10:00a.m. In 1987, she married David A. Brown. Early years spent in Show Low with her husband before finally settling in Tucson, where she remained until her death. She worked as an assistant to a Veterinarian in Pinetop for several years until she became a full-time mom. Together she and David had one child, Brianna K. Brown. They were married for 16 years until David’s death in 2001. Following the grief of her husband’s passing she found joy and love again with a new partner Joseph O. Leon. They were together until Joseph’s passing in 2018. Rita was devoted to her friends and family, and loved spending time with them all. She had a passion for animals and shared her enthusiasm with all those around her. Rita was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was truly loved by everyone she met. She loved and cared for with all her heart. Her family was truly blessed by her beautiful heart. She will always be missed and loved as a mother, wife, sister, tía, and a true friend. Rest in eternal peace. She was predeceased by: her husband, David and partner, Joseph O. Leon. Also brother Tito, Ralph, Ronnie, and sister Bonnie. She is survived by her daughter, Brianna; sister, Lupita Molina; and brother, Henry Carrillo And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren.
