Sanchez, Rita S., 78, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her son, Paul Sanchez and wife, Linda; daughters, Marie Lucero and husband, Chris and Christine Williams and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Jessie and Rachel Sanchez, Evelina Lucero, Steve Maestas, Emmanuel and Pamela Lucero, Matthew Lukesh, Jolene Sanchez, Ray Sanchez Jr., daughter-in-law, Annette Garcia; great-grandchildren, Emiliano, Santiago, Xavier Maestas; sisters, Rosie Baca and Anna Lopez; brother, Isaac Romero; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her husband, Luis R. Sanchez, daughter, Bernadette Sanchez, and son, Raymundo. A viewing will take place on Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 6:00 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm all at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 27, 2014 at 9:00 am at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
