Robbie Christina Simmons-Rivera

Robbie Christina Simmons Rivera, 62 of Clewiston FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of March 13, 2021. Robbie was born in Stuart, FL on June 2, 1958 to Goldie & Annette Simmons Robbie was a Nurse for 30+ years in the Clewiston, South Bay, and Belle Glade. Her nursing career started in Oswego, NY where she went to nursing school and worked in the hospital in NY before moving back to Florida settling in Clewiston continuing her nursing career. She loved being a nurse, spending time with family and friends, gardening, crafting and watching her Telenovelas. She is survived by her beloved husband, Francisco Rivera, children Annette Cobb, Juan Orozco Jr. (Holly),Amanda Orozco (Tfee)and Shaun Pineda, sister, Gail Simmons Butler (Bill), stepmother, Nancy Simmons, her beloved dog Mamas, nieces Cassie Wilson and Niki Simmons, nephew Shelby Wilson Sr., grandchildren Christian Gonzales, Yzabella Fuentes, JR Orozco, Harley Orozco, Emily Johnson, and Ryan Bearden and 3 great grandchildren. Preceded by father Goldie W Simmons Sr., mother Annette Simmons and brother Goldie W Simmons Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19th from 5:00 to 6:00 pm and services following from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at Akin-Davis 438 East Sugarland Hwy, Clewiston FL 33440. Please join Robbie’s family on Saturday, March 20th from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm for a Celebration of Life in Clewiston at the Sugar Festival grounds near the intersection of Royal Palm Ave and East Osceola Ave. Robbie wished to be cremated.
