July 11th, 1941 - February 24th, 2015
Robert L. Bense, 73, died peacefully at home on Feb. 24, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born July 11, 1941 in Freeport N.Y., son of the late Gustav and Mildred Bense. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Karen Bense; sons, Robert (Nancy) of Clifton Park, N.Y., James (Amy) of Saint Johns, MI;daughters, Debra Peak (Deron) of Brentwood, TN, and Samantha Bense of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Susan Joy and 9 grandchildren. He owned several businesses in Vermont and Florida before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed boating, fishing and being with his many pets. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and relatives.
