Benton, Robert E., 80, of Largo, FL, died Sunday March 24, 2002 at Mariner Health of Clearwater after a short illness. Born in Springfield, OH, he came here in 1994 from Richmond, IN. He retired as a Yard Master from the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of Hanna?s Creek Church of Christ and the Liberty Lodge #58, Free and Accepted Masons where he was a Past Master. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Marjorie S.; three daughters: Pam Jenkins, Carmel, IN; Sharon Hunt, Seminole, FL; and Barbara Hazel, Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren: Laura Walker, Valdosta, GA; Ryan Hunt, Atlanta, GA; and Jodi Burton, Oakley, CA; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Lodge #58 F&AM, East Kitchel Road, Liberty, IN 47374. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
