Robert Anthony Blake

Robert Anthony Blake died in Hospice care at Novant Presbyterian Hospital on April 10, 2024, after a long and difficult battle with cancer. He was a LifeShare donor. Born in Charlotte, NC on November 14th, 1962, Bobby was the son of William A Blake Sr. (deceased) and Barbara A Blake, both of Charlotte, NC. He was the loving father of Brittany Anne Blake (deceased) of Pensacola, FL. Bobby leaves behind a large family who loved him very much, including his brother William (Bill) Blake Jr. of Charlotte, NC, and Bill's three sons James, Eric and William III; sister Susan Sloan (deceased) and her husband Jeff Sloan of Jackson, SC, and their two sons Jeffrey and Adam; sister Beverly Cannaday and her husband Curt Cannaday of Mint Hill, NC, and their two sons Clint and Cody; sister Belinda Blake of York, SC, and her daughter Elizabeth. He was also loved by his fiancé Lee Ann Chambers of Moundsville, WV. Bobby was passionate about NASCAR, Jeopardy nights with his mom, his cat Baby Girl, politics, and proper dishwasher loading procedures. His bigger than life personality lit up every room he ever walked in, and his jokes kept everyone around him in stitches. Bobby will forever be remembered for making folks smile, even during his toughest times. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 1st at two o'clock in the afternoon at Good Shepherd Methodist Church, Moss Road, with pastor Talbot Davis officiating.
