Robert Bob Kalmbach, Sr.

My Life Story Robert "Bob" Kalmbach was born Feb. 19, 1929 in Weiser, Idaho to Jesse and Edith Kalmbach. He passed away Nov. 19, 2015 at his home in Caldwell, Idaho. Bob was an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed riding horses and big game hunting with his family. He was an avid bowler his entire life. Bob was a dairy farmer most of his life and later, he sold dairy equipment in Filer Idaho. In his retirement, Bob and his wife of 57 years, May, were camp hosts at Sage Hen campground for 16 summers. They enjoyed traveling to see their kids and grandkids. He is preceded in death by his daughter Betty, his wife, May and his granddaughter, Amanda. He is survived by his sons: Bob Jr. (Linda) from Puyallup, WA, Gary (Terry) from Keuterville, ID, Kevin from Caldwell, ID, and John (Ellen) Kalmbach from Banks, OR. He also leaves behind his friend and companion for the last eight years, Marge Mandina and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he enjoyed thoroughly. A viewing for family and friends will begin at 12:30 PM with funeral service at 1:30 PM at Legacy Church, 1507 N. Meridian Rd., Meridian on Saturday, November 28, 2015 with burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com.
