Frankfort – Robert Allen Brooks-Wittig, 37, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. He was born in Louisville on November 11, 1982 to Debra Wittig and Albert Brooks Sr. He worked in construction. None of us are perfect. After a lifetime of struggle with his addictions, he made that one wrong decision. You had a heart so big, always wanting to help others. Oh how we will miss your smile; that is the first thing everyone mentions about you. I hope I can change one life with this truth….Just One! He is survived by his children, Jayden Nicole Brooks, Frankfort, Tavian Allen Brooks, Frankfort, Katelyn Marie Brooks-Wittig, Louisville, Joshua Robert Brooks, Lawrenceburg, and Ryker Xavier Brooks-Wittig, Lawrenceburg; his brothers, Albert Brooks Jr., Frankfort, Corey Brooks, Lexington, and Brandon Brooks, Lexington; his sisters, LaCatherine Brooks, Meisha Brooks, Whitney Brooks, and Taylor Brooks, all of Lexington; and his significant other, Ashton Elizabeth Goodlett. He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Josephine Murphy Brooks; and his paternal grandmother, Dora Brooks; and his uncle, James Austin Brooks Jr. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
