Robert Brown passed away August 26, 2018 in Shelton, Washington, at age 61. He was born April 9, 1957 to Delmar and Madaline Brown in Jacksonville, Florida. Robert also lived in Olympia, Washington for more than 32 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter, and in the U.S. National Guard as an M1A1. He married Vickie Bell on August 15, 1980 in Panama City, Florida. Robert earned a BS and MS in Computer Science, MBA and MSCS in Information Systems, and a Doctorate from the University of Wyoming. Professionally, he worked for True Blue as a System Engineer III. Robert was the epitome of a Southern Gentleman, family-oriented, and a philanthropist. He was selfless, strong, dedicated, loving, generous, honest, brilliant and heroic. Among his hobbies and interests were transformers, Star Trek, space, survivalist activity, weaponry, technology, golf, and University of Florida Gators sports. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Brown of Olympia; sons, Christopher Brown and Nicholas Brown; daughter, Kathryne Brown; five grandchildren; and brother, William Carrington.
