Robert "Bob" Fister

Robert “Bob” Fister, 85, passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2022 at his home in Melbourne Beach, FL. Bob was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 23, 1936 to two loving parents; Clem and Catherine (Shade) Fister. He spent his youth in St. Louis and met the Love of his life; Carol Porter; who he married on August 23rd, 1957. In 1962, Bob earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He went on to start a 37 year career with Standard Oil Company/Amoco, in various Sales and Marketing positions spanning across Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Bob loved to go golfing, fishing, and he loved cooking for his family and friends. He treasured the time spent at the lake and beach with his family, especially with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who called him; Papa. He also enjoyed serving his community as an officer of The United States Junior Chamber, also known as the Jaycees. He is preceded in death by his loving parents; Clem and Catherine. Beloved son; Gregory. Brother Donald (Sarah) Fister, and Brother-in-Law; David. Bob will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of almost 65 years; Carol Fister. His cherished sons; Ken (Kathy) and Todd (Nancy) Fister. His loving sister; Margaret Scott. Daughter-in-Law; Lisa. Adored Grandchildren; Catherine, Emerson, Bailey, Teresa, and Kristen. Great grandchildren; Charlotte, Jackson and Winston. A private celebration of Bob’s life will be held in Eagle River, WI.
