Robert Glans
May 19th, 1933 - February 4th, 2019
On Monday, February 4, 2019, Robert (Bob) Eric Glans passed away peacefully at the age of 85. He was born to parents Carl and Maxime Glans on May 19, 1933 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Bob joined the Air Force at the age of 18 and served his country proudly for 26 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he then worked for Boeing Aerospace. He worked hard for his family. "I was never without work", he would say. We will miss his humorous stories of the "old days", which always began with "my old man..." He enjoyed his grandchildren for a day of BBQ, sailing his boat, and enjoyed sitting in the sun with his dogs after a hard days work in the yard. He is survived by son Robert C. Glans (Robin), daughter Linda Hunter, grandchildren Shawn Hunter, Taylor Olson (Darrin) and Paris Glans. "A time to be born, a time to die. A time for every purpose under Heaven." May you rest peacefully, Dad. May you and mom dance again.
