Robert Gunn

Robert "Bob" Thomas Gunn age 55, of Ione, CA, passed away, August 12, 2013 in Ione. Robert was born in Oakland, CA on May 6, 1958, a son of Barbara Ann (Langler) and Bert Wallace Gunn. Bob is survived by his son, Christopher Gunn, of Shingle Springs; parents Bert and Barbara Gunn of Lincoln, CA; brothers, Stephen Gunn (Kristin) of Folsom, CA, Donald Gunn (Stephanie) of La Crescenta, CA; sisters, Janice Hancock (Dennis) of Issaquah, WA, Cathy O'Conner (Steve) of Sunnyvale, CA; numerous nieces and nephews and his best friend, Robby. Bob was raised in San Bruno moving to Ione in 2003. From the age of 18 he worked for Pacific Bell for 11+ years and later as a licensed Union electrician for small and large companies. Robert was the greatest dad was always there for Christopher even after a long day at work. He loved the outdoors, loved his family always helping everyone, he was a giver and just lovable Bob. He never met a stranger. He was also known as Handy Bob he could fix anything, very talented and brilliant. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on October 19, 2013 at 2pm at the Firefighters Memorial Hall, Diamond Springs, CA.
