Tribute Robert Gordon Harvie, 73, entered eternal rest on Sept 8, 2021 in Denver, CO. He was preceded by his parents Ruth Coffin Harvie and Stuart Gordon Harvie. He was survived by his wife Abisadj Ricky Harvie, his children (with Eileen Harvie) Stacy Atherton, Robert Harvie, Ruth Swafford, his 9 grandchildren, sister Susan Harvie Smith, and his brother William P. Harvie. Bob was born in New Rochelle NY and grew up in Bayshore, Long Island, where he became an Eagle Scout, spending his summers in Newport, VT- the place he loved and remained his home in America, to which he always returned. He obtained degrees from NYU , Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and Xavier, Master’s in Business. He had a successful career that afforded him the opportunity to relocate internationally and to travel and enjoy many countries of the world. He lived in South East Asia for the last 30 years, residing mostly in Miri, Malaysia. He is loved and will be missed by many as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and mentor.
