Robert Carl Hasty

Hasty, Robert Carl, 56, of Wesley Chapel, Florida, passed away suddenly September 10, 2020. He was born in Pekin, Illinois, and moved to Florida when he was 7 years old. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from USF (2001), and a Master of Business Administration from St. Leo University (2011). He was a software engineer at Zenith America Solutions. He enjoyed adventure riding and loved his BMW motorcycle’s, taking care of his house, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with his family but most of all he loved being a dad. Robert was known as the life of the party, always smiling, and making jokes while never putting anyone down. He is preceded in death by his father Harry Hasty. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years Brenda Halpin, his daughter Emily, stepdaughters Morgan and Jesse, mother Gloria Blackburn, brother DeWayne Hasty, sister Lori (Brad) Berg, nephews and nieces, Ryan, Renee, Bennett, Sam, Joe, Scott, Leah and Alex. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 16, 4 pm, at Loyless Funeral Home, Land O’Lakes. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
