Robert Taylor Householder

Brother Robert “Bobby” Householder, 60, went home to be with the Lord September 26, 2016. Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Saturday October 1, 2016 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Bobby Roberson, Brother Benjamin Burks, and Rev. Jeff Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown. A native of Berryville, Virginia, Bobby was the son of the late Ella Rae White and Boyd Clifton Householder, Sr. An Evangelist, Bobby ministered to numerous congregations as Lead Pastor, Evangelist, Youth Pastor, and Missionary for over 35 years. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded by his wife of 29 years Lori Christina Householder, and his sister Carolyn Mae Rath. Survivors include his loving wife of four years Wendyjo Sterling Householder of the home; son John Householder and Carmen of Durham; daughters Charity Green and Josh of Kannapolis, and Beka Householder of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Emily, Elizabeth, Madison, and Melanie; step-children Katie and Nathan Pegram of Check, VA, Elisabeth Kilby of Greensboro, and John Kilby of Walkertown; brothers Boyd Householder and Stephanie of Humansville, MO, and Gary Householder of Lynchburg, VA; and numerous extended family and Christian friends. The family will visit with friends from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Friday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel.
