Robert J. Jeffers

Robert Joseph Jeffers Sr. - age 69 of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Northside Hospital in St.Petersburg, Florida after a short illness. He was born in Bennington, Vermont and has been a resident of Pinellas Park, Florida along with his wife for the last 33 years. In his early years, Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a communications specialist and then spent many years working for the automobile industry in sales and service management until his retirement. He dearly loved his three Yorkie puppies (Jolly, Teddy & Little Bit) and was fond of watching football games. Bob is survived by his loving, dedicated wife of 47 years, Carol Graham Jeffers of Pinellas Park, Florida and was a cherished father to his two sons also of Florida; Robert J. Jeffers Jr. of Seminole and Richard M. Jeffers of Lutz. Bob was a proud grandfather of three grandsons; Jamie M. Scott, Logan S. Jeffers and Saige M. Jeffers. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren; Kristian P. Bolduc, Jessica L. Bolduc, Shawn C. Bolduc Jr. and one step-great grandson; Bentley Geissler, all of Florida. Other special surviving family members include sister-in-laws; Roberta Harris and "Sister Robert Rita Graham" both of New York; three nieces and eight great-nieces and nephews. Following his wishes, Bob will be taken to his final resting place and services will be held at the Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida at a future date to be determined. David C.
