Robert was born June 24th 1941 in Beach North Dakota to parents Edwin Kvech and Eveline Loop. In 1950 his family moved to Springfield, OR where he graduated from Springfield High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. After the service, he moved to Portland, OR and worked for 30 years for Con Met. He returned to Eugene in 2016. Two sisters, Betty Jandt of Eugene and Mary Thompson of Springfield, survive Robert as well as seven nephews and two nieces. Graveside Services with honors were held at Springfield Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Springfield Memorial Funeral Home.
