Robert Lebsack

Robert Lebsack, 92, of Berthoud, passed away on June 24, 2020 in his home in Berthoud, Colorado. He was born to Jacob and Pauline (Lebsack) Lebsack on July 31, 1927 in Berthoud, Colorado. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed in France. He met and later married Priscilla Hutcheson in 1950 and settled in Colorado where they ran their farm. He and his wife farmed for 50 years in various locations around the Berthoud area. They retired and moved to the town of Berthoud in 1989 and lived there until his passing. He was a member of the Berthoud United Methodist Church. He was also involved in Farm Bureau, ELKS, Berthoud Boosters and many other community service organizations. Robert is survived by daughter, Robbie Feuerstein (Eric) of Laramie, Wyoming; son, Paul Lebsack (Wendy) of Berthoud; grandchildren, Amanda Cornett, Kristina Ogden (Derek), Daniel Lebsack, Noah Lebsack, Erin Coram (Zachary), Kyle Feuerstein, Sam Lebsack, and Lauren Lebsack; great-grandchildren, Ethan Cornett, Evan Cornett, Emmett Cornett, Garrett Ogden, Felicity Odgen, Tahlia Ogden; siblings, Alvin Lebsack, John (Myra) Lebsack, Lillian Knight and Ruby Spaur and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla; son, Kennon; grandson, Noel Lebsack; parents, Jacob and Pauline Lebsack; siblings, Florence Zeiler, Lucille Beckmon, Wallace Lebsack and Marion Hutcheson. A Life Celebration Service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, August 1, 2020 outside on the lawn of the Berthoud United Methodist Church, 9th and Lake, Berthoud. Face masks are requested, and bring a lawn chair, if you choose. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert’s memory to the Berthoud United Methodist Church.
