Robert "Rob" Tarleton Lowrey
December 13th, 1956 - August 22nd, 2024
SSGT. Robert Tarleton Lowrey age 67,died on August 22nd,2024 in his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado from stage 4 lung cancer. He was born on December 13th, 1956 in Fort Monmouth, N.J.
He started moving right away being a dependent to his father who was in the Army, moved to Germany when he was 6 months old and was speaking German before he learned English. He learned to get along with people of all sorts because of his frequent moves around the world from the army as well as his time in the USAF.
Some of the places he has lived include Hawaii, Texas, Kansas, Idaho, Washington and Germany. He was in the Air Force for 10 years. His father Col. Willis H. Lowrey swore him in. While in the Air Force he earned his associates degree in communications operations. He graduated 2nd in his class in non commissioned officer leadership school to achieve his rank of Staff Sergeant Combat Crew Training Chief before he was Honorably Discharged at Tinker AFB 1985. He had many hobbies, which included hiking, fishing, hunting, camping and being with his family and grandchildren. He also made it a point of helping those in need.
He is preceded in death by his father Wills H Lowrey and his mother Jean T Lowrey his brothers Doug Lowrey and George Lowrey.
He is survived by his wife Terressa L Lowrey (T.C), his sons Erik S Miller(Jessica Brushwein), Kyle J Miller and Cody R Miller(Desiree Miller). His sisters Becky Vinson, Sheryi McWilliams(Glenn McWilliams) and Cathy Wallace(Richard Wallace and Gwyn Wallace) And his 5 grandchildren Ion, Alaric, Atlas, Harvest, Zypher.
There is no services or celebration of life at this moment date TBD.
