On January 14th, 2021, Robert Earl Mackey passed, in the morning, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Robert's favorite pastimes included playing golf and spending time with his loving wife, Violet, and his family. He had a strong passion and commitment to education and community. He always insisted on family gatherings and celebrations for even the smallest of occasions. Robert was extremely proud of heritage as a member of the Choctaw Nation and passed this pride to his children and grandchildren. Robert Early Mackey will be carried on by his wife, two children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
